Mastering

Mastering is the final process whereby the balance of the mix is checked to ensure the optimum playback in all possible locations and any inconsistencies are optimised in the tonal balance of the mix. The studio has been acoustically treated with top class monitoring and includes the Trinnov Nova system to fine tune the listening environment. Please note we are an Apple digital masters certified studio.

We use Wavelab for mastering which can create CD DDP images as well as all the meta data including ISRC codes and images for mp3 files, which are an international standard to identify your music wherever it is played.

• Hi res 96k stereo wav file for archive purposes and sites such as bandcamp

• 48k stereo wav file for video sync

• Stereo wav file at 44.1k 24bit and 16bit for streaming distribution

• 96k 24 bit stereo wav file set to -1db true peak for Apple Digital Mastering standards

• Stereo wav file at 16bit 44.1k for cd

• Mp3 stereo master @320kpbs

• Revisions free of charge

• DDP CD image for CD duplication (on request)

• Vinyl master (on request)

To upload your mix for mastering, please click here. Remember to remove any processing on the stereo mix bus if it is not being used for creative purposes such as a limiter adding volume. It is highly recommended to include any meta data such as ISRC codes which can be programmed into the master files so your music can easily be identified anywhere it is played.
